A project on Friday required me to research the very prettiest ballet inspired dresses for a drawing. While online- I was distracted my top knots, simple black leotards with deep v's, those amazing studded capezios (you know the ones)... So today I have the urge to dress simply. And stand straighter
I was in dance classes my entire life. Some projects I enjoy more than others. This was one of them.

Wow, I am glad you enjoyed your project! :)
Sometimes I miss dance, which I am sure you do too!

Oh, this is so wonderful! Do you by chance have any photos of you dancing? I'd love to post some on my blog. I have a dream of also doing what you did with framing sketches except doing it with sketches of tutus. It's my next project.
And yes, great minds do think alike!
Thank´s for visiting my blog and your sweet comment :)
I have also danced different kind of styles, but there´s nothing like ballet :)
This post totally makes me miss my ballerina days...love the pics!
I love ballet and these pics are amazing. Thanks for sharing. Talk soon
love a pretty post with a fun title!!! there are some shoes at anthro similar to these with a big bow that remind me of the grown up "heeled" tap shoes i longed to wear when i was little.
I can't wait to see this project! We'll see it, right??
Love the color of those satin shoes--so vintage, timeless and fun. I was a ballet girl too, so I relate!

very very pretty!
I love these images. I quit ballet way too young, it's one of those little life regrets I carry.
