pretty bottles this season

Thanks for the kind words while I was away doing holiday things. I did manage to put up my lights this weekend (went with the large old school white bulbs) and now the whole place feels super cozy.

Planning for lots of holiday parties this week. Today my holiday pick goes to pretty bottles! While you are shopping this week pick up a few of these. I like to show up at parties with really unusual bottles of champagne, or whatever my host drinks. If I don't know- it's whatever bottle I like best!
Give them with these for bonus points...
and if your hostess doesn't drink much or is pregs make sure to bring her some of this instead. Have you seen any great bottles this year?

Great bottles. I am always noticing how gorgeous so many of the bottles are that I simply chuck into the recycling. From time to time I will save them, but there are so many great ones.

Great containers make "practical" things like dish soap Christmas-worthy. On another note, I can totally relate to the top picture. In my attempt to keep all red and green, I made bloody mary's before hanging Christmas lights. I woke this morning in a very similar state! Happy Holidays!

I love pretty bottles too :) Don't judge a wine but its label but sometimes.....you just have to!

These are great! I love the label on the Deesse and the shape of the whiskey bottle is nice. Not a big drinker but I still won't mind displaying them.

those are so lovely, I would hardly worry about what they tasted like. The apothecary-worthy shape of the whisky is fab.

I would like to do that for Christmas - just lie down with some fairy lights draped around me.
