they say it's your birthay?

I wouldn't know. I forget everyone's birthday. I'm notoriously thoughtful, but I'm so busy I never know when birthdays are coming. I'm awful. I'd love an electronic birthday device that goes of a week before a friends birthday so I can shop. (Genius.)
I found the cutest birthday book online which will now hopefully keep me on gift giving, card sending and phone calling track. By the adorable Carrot and Stick Press!

Well, if you've been reading you know I've been gearing up for a great show in NYC's meatpacking district. Going to be a blast!
However I have MORE news. Just two weeks after I'll be in sunny SanFrancisco! I truly hope to meet some great CA locals! It's at Stem! :)
We have support from some of my favorite stores: belljar, dema, perch, needles&pens, ads hats, candystore collective, five and diamond.... and currently adding more! Please please help us spread the word for show #2! (CA bloggers- please post?!)

Coat update

Still working on the nursery commission, but will post when its finished. Getting a few things finalized for the NY show- and will be posting the info for the 2nd show soon too!
Wanted to give you a coat update! For new followers: I designed a coat. In fact I designed a coat and then won a fashion design contest at vaute couture and now the coat is being sold nationwide this upcoming season.
Here is a sneak peek from the photo shoot. When vaute couture gives me the okay I'll show you more!

flea market finds

During my travels recently I stumbed upon a flea market. Found these great glasses which I got for $2- for the set. AND this cute fan which still works for $7.


Great day for under $10. This weekend I need to find two more presentation books that are not quite as expensive as the one I bought below. If I can find white/ or gray... I'd be happier than standard black. I'll be bringing 3 to my shows and already have the one below. Any suggestions?
