Now I may not be heading on Safari this summer (if you are, can I come with?), but doesn't mean I can't dress safari. Of course any safari outfit needs a great hat and a green jacket. Glam it up by adding a graphic tee, skirt, and snakeskin heels. And never ever forget about the accessories and makeup!
I love pairing florals and stripes for spring and wanted to share one of my favorite combinations in stores now. I added gold metallic topsiders and Elizabeth and James cat eye shades for my walk, but you can consider adding your own favorites depending on your days agenda. I always love this look with a pair of nude wedges.
Sometimes to get a change of scenery, I paint up in our Penthouse office because it has great lighting. Here I recreated my outfit for you to try (for lounging or otherwise). After this long winter, I'm still not ready to let go of my sweaters, so pair yours with shorts, sandals, and aviators. Throw in some great makeup and accessories and you'll have a comfy spring look.
This week I was invited to preview the new Ted Baker store before
it opened to the public at the KOP mall, in Philadelphia. I rode with the
skia blue media team and a group of stylish Philadelphia creatives on
"Ted's traveling trolley" and arrived at the store outfitted by the Ted Baker team. I choose a playsuit in a bright poppy color, and floral
heels. I added braids and matching lipstick for the evening. Like?
We
met the team at the beautiful new store which takes design influences
from the circus, the contortionist, juggler and cotton candy were just
for us though ;)
No one says having the blues means you can't look good and chambray is the way to prove it. I live in my chambray tops. They're so versatile and can be worn so many ways. Here, really show off your blues, by pairing with gold accessories, leather skinnys, distressed sneaks, and some bold makeup (dare I suggest blue?).
I know I can't speak for everyone, but for us East Coast ladies, it's time for a vacation from this indecisive weather. And this board is making me juuuust about ready to book tickets to anywhere so I can have an excuse to put on this great Dolce suit, some sunnies, and sandals (remember sandals?). Add an oh so trendy ear cuff and all of these other great accessories and you can almost taste the daiquiris.
Watercolor is my sweet spot, since my illustrations are watercolors. So you can understand how my heart stopped beating when I saw this Valentino water color jacket. Pair that up with a metallic dress, neutral accessories, Naked 2, and some statement nails and you'll look like a million bucks.
Give me some leather and I'm a happy girl. Give me some leather and some dark vampy lips, a great bag, a statement necklace, and some sunnies and I can conquer the world. Get yourself some leather and go run the world (girls).
