I was taking a peek at some chalkboards online this week (need one for my kitchen and just haven't found the right one yet), when I came across some really fun photos showcasing chalkboard paint.
Love the idea of using them for gift tags as spotted on hiphostess and pinterest.
You know I love a dark wall, so a dark wall you can write on sounds like it would be just right for me.
I like the minimalism here.
And for kids rooms possibilities are endless. I love the calendar idea if you are a busy mom who needs a day-to-day calendar but hates the look of the regular refrigerator version, and the pink painted door above is so fun for a children's bedroom.

Want to know how to make your own? Here you go. Thanks, Martha.

I love this too. A dark wall always gets me as well! I like the idea of making a cheese board and then marking the different cheeses.
