While I own many very deep shades of polish ( I should own stock in wicked and lincoln park after dark), when it comes to red I usually skip over medium & dark shades and go straight to poppy!
This season I am going to try a little wine on my fingertips. I love this shot that's been circling pinterest, so much that I have been swayed. I think I'll go with a deep red wine shade with a very subtle hint of shimmer in it.
creds: le metier de beaute (picking up the one above and this set too! perfect for fall!),

I love that color Dallas!! Fabulous for the holiday season, with still adding a bit of fall. Such a great shade, thanks for sharing! Hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend and Happy Monday xoxo Check out Twirling Clare's giveaway this week http://twirlingclare.blogspot.com/2011/11/year-celebration-giveaway.html
Gorgeous color! I need to get some. I tend to stick with bright blues and greens.

Deep red is a go to color for me when it comes to nail polish!
I'm with you. The merlot colors are so fall - and they look so "polished" (no pun intended). My latest favorite from Deborah Lippman is Stormy Weather (posted about it here http://bit.ly/rcZaeO) but I'll have to try that Bitches Brew! ;)
