bhldn

An ex of mine used to refer to me as "overdressed". Needless to say- that relationship didn't work out.
I guess it makes sense that all of these years later I find myself shopping wedding sites browsing though "dress shoes" for what I consider "everyday shoes". Here are a few that I love from bhldn- and while you might wear them to a wedding, I will be wearing them with my early fall wardrobe.

Other wedding shops I like to shop for everyday items?
Jcrew Weddings & Parties for amazing earrings
Shop Bando bridal for flowers to add to my winter coat

  15. Hey wait a minute! I'm a guy and I get it! I find it wonderfully refreshing and appealing when a woman is confident enough in herself to push the limit, so to speak in fashion. I love checking in on this blog from time to time because it reminds me that there are women out there who dress for their own pleasure and satisfaction. So there! Some guys do get it!

  16. those black lace up shoes are GORGEOUS! I hear you..Most moms at little gym are wearing yoga gear...and I show up like I am going out to Friday night dinner...I REFUSE to give up style...I feel more comfortable like that than I would in work out clothing, lol.
Wear your fancy shoes with pride:)

  17. here, here to that, sister! :) i'm all about being well dressed - even if i'm just working in my studio all day!
i had a reputation in art school for being 'the fashionable one' (of course that came along with the sneers from all of those in their sweatpants)
    hehe ;)

  19. Oh trust me, there is NO such thing as being overdressed. It's more embarrassing to be underdressed. PS - LOVE the shoes at bhldn, just bought a few accessories from there!
