hold on tight

Each summer I have a shopping list. It includes things I need for the summer, but can also use through other seasons. This year, a large plain rectangle clutch tops that list.

    SO with you! I love foldover envelope clutches, too. Claire Vivier has a fantastic selection, and they're not too expensive.

    Top of the list: Maxi skirt. I can wear it to weddings with a nice blouse in the summer, and wear it with sweaters and blazers for fall.. I'm on the hunt for it!

    PS - I love those clutches! Celine makes me drool. Sometimes it's not pretty.

    Agree- definitely a must-have. Zara has some pretty great ones right now and priced reasonably :)

    A clutch WAS on my list...I just busted out the sewing machine and made one for a fraction of the cost...I am now ready to make a ton more (maybe sell a few too!)

    I love the versatility of a huge clutch...I bought an envelope clutch at Henri Bendel that I love (orange) that I wear day and night, but it's not quite as big as the oversized clutches!

    I can't believe we're wearing flares again! I've resisted giving in to platforms but the flares...I loved them in 1971 and think I still do.

    American Apparel makes one that Jane from Sea of Shoes has been carrying. It's called the Medium Leather Carry-All and comes in tan, stone and black for $50. I might be picking one up soon!

    My list includes nude patent heels (Louboutin or Miu Miu), the Alexander Wang fold-over clutch in fabric with leather trim, Karen Walker sunglasses, and neon-bright everything - especially pants and shoes.

    And if I had tons of money: a Hermes Medor watch and the banana print shirt from Prada SS 2011.

    The perfect nude sandal is top on my list.
    I THINK I have found it...a beautiful Miu Miu pair. We shall see!
    Loving those rectangular bags....especially the tan color...perfect out to dinner bag.

    I agree completely!! I just picked up a giant rectangular leather clutch from American Apparel. It comes in 3 sizes - I got the the biggest in black but plan to get the gray and camel as well. Such a great piece that is seasonless and affordable. Happy shopping!!

    This is at the top of my list to get too! American Apparel seems to have one of the best, with lots of colors.
    I'd like some flirty flowy dresses too, with lots of bold colors.
