We are past 500 readers: that means you get things.

Thanks everyone for being such a support system. Even bigger news coming this week! Can't wait to tell you!

Last year I did some holiday shopping in this great etsy shop: modish vintage. Just leave a little hello below saying what you think would be a great holiday gift from the shop and you are entered to win all three items:

Medium yellow metal canister

Dansk salt and pepper shaker

(and my fav) the embroidered half apron

And guess what! If you shop vintage for the Holidays like I do, just enter dillydallas at checkout in modishvintage's shop for a 10% discount. (until Tues when winner is announced)

Thanks everyone xo

Hello!! I LOVE modish vintage! Really there are tons of things in the shop that would make a great Christmas gift- but I know I've always wanted a vintage pencil sharpener like the ones I used back in school- didn't everyone use those as a kid and love them?

It would take you right back in time! :)

yes! vintage rocks! as for gift-giving, I always stick to handmade-it never lets me down. Even if you're not the "crafty" type, I say if the recipient isn't going to appreciate something you made just for them, it's that much easier for you, cause you know not to make them anything next year! haha that's my logic anyway. I doubt you'll have any trouble with this. I LOVE your blog and all the amazing antique-y stuff!

I'm drawn vintage baby blue kitchenware and the shop has so many cute blue items. I like the swiss chalet platter or sugar container and know they would make perfect holiday gifts.
