my future space
as I am stuck in this tiny apt, I collect images for my new office. Which half sucks/ but is half kind of cool (I'm optimistic) b/c it assures me that y next office space will be perfect. I have decided already that all of my office accessories will be gold (stapler, pens, etc ) . And I think that the majority of the space will be white.
One room I was drawn to was Jenna Lyons. Saw part of her studio space in domino and I love the large white windows , the dark weathered floors and the striped carpet. I think my desk could look good here, and that my tees could fit nicely on a simple rack.
Since I can't officially moce all this into my space I bought these great shoes as a reminder of my future! mmm.
I'm off to pick up some chanel nail polish for someone who has been sweet to me. xo
Have a good weekend- don't forget to enter the CONTEST below!
Ooooh I love the look of that room. I'm also stuck in a teeny little apartment and am always dreaming about moving into a nice/big/bright/open space (with a special studio just for me)! Domino is always great for inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteA LOT OF SHOES. I could sit in that room all day touching shoes and be happy. I know it sounds dorky but whatever :)
ReplyDeleteOoh I love that rack for shoes...I need one of those!
ReplyDeletenice light in that room.
ReplyDeleteI love this room too! Her apt is soo fabulous
ReplyDeleteOh, to have that many shoes AND a place to store them all so beautifully? A girl can dream.
ReplyDeleteohmygosh..i have a cut out picture of that exact same space-it must have been in a magazine i subscribe to. i am dreaming it will be my closet some day....complete with all the clothes and shoes of course!
ReplyDeletemy don't we all wish for that kind of space? sigh! =D
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun to plan for future spaces! I love the idea of all gold office accessories.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
I love that place!!And i like the shoes too:D
ReplyDeleteI'm another lady stuck in a super tiny apartment. My wardrobe is tiny. Literally, 1 meter wide. Ridiculous! I've taken to buying vintage suitcases to store my out-of-season clothes because there's nowhere else to put them! But one day I'll have my very own walk-in robe, perhaps with a stripey rug and a couch just like that one! And you'll all be invited to stare in amazement at my shoes :D
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, gorgeous heels! I wish I could wear high heels! So uncoordinated :(
Just discovered you and I simply love your work. You're a lady after my own heart--I have a garment rack in my Living Room . . .
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful... I definitely need that rack for all my shoes!
ReplyDeleteDallas! Thank you so much for your comment on my blog, and appologies it took SO long for me to give you some blog love back! Love love love those shoes!!

ReplyDeleteohh i love the space, or just a bright space to keep all your guilty pleasures!
ReplyDeletelove that space! love the striped carpet and cute shoes!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! I set a garment rack up for holiday house guests, and I continue to use it, long after they've gone.
ReplyDeleteYou're right--the shoes are the perfect shade of blue. Thanks for the comment :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that closet too! I saw it in Domino...which by the way, I'm so sad that Domino is over. It's just so sad.
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing/seeing bright or dark blue pops in a mostly white room. Sounds really nice and calming! I can never make myself paint a wall though because I'm a perfectionist and I'm indecisive! :X
