I kicked off my crazy fashion week at Ports 1961. If this was any indication how the rest of the week would be I was sure to be a happy girl. The collection was really pretty- all wearable, but someting unique about each. I especially loved the rich colors that were shown- purple, green and blue (ps: the purple number needs to be a part of my wardrobe.)
One thing that will stand out in my mind from this show is the minute this dress came down the runway. It sparkled so much in real life as the model walked that everyone in the crowd was silent for a moment-and then flashbulbs went off everywhere.
I just walked in from mercedes benz fashion week. I am exhausted, and need to be back for shows tomorrow. but have so much to show you. Will begin posts today (mine will be very "unique"). Hope you traveled along on twitter.
Work has been so busy, and I leave for fashion week soon. I can't help it that my wedding anniversary falls right before the big week, so I spent the long weekend at my old home Walt Disney World.
A little known fact- I lived in Orlando for some time, and worked for the mouse. Even drew for him before I moved back north. Today I am back to the real world of art and fashion.
Just a few weeks ago, I featured some jewelry by etsy shop ayoemijewelry. So I visited her shop a second time b/c I heard about these modern day friendship bracelets. LOVE these. And to make it better she agreed to giveaway a set to a reader of my blog- it gets better. In the color of your choice. I know. amazing.
This contest is simple: Just leave some love for ayoemijewelry below or at her etsy page! what color will you choose for your bff?
I tweeted about these months ago to find out a) what they were called b) how much they were and c) where when and HOW I could get my hands on them the very second I saw them in this pretty louis vuitton ad:
turns out the "beauty pumps" by louis vuitton are just that. and I want them so badly. in any color.

My new custom stationary is in! I have been mailing at least 2 original paintings or illustrations a week for months now and I like to include a little handwritten note in each, so a few weeks ago I commissioned ph design shop to design custom stationary for me!
Do you love it?! The chevron stripes are so "me"- and I love how my signature is debossed in the simple white notecard. Couldn't be happier with the final result.
some other things I love at phdesign: this card, these ruled thank you notes, aaaamazing ribbon
