what to wear today

Some of you know my work is inspired by fashion and I've been doing some styling lately so I thought I'd make it a small part of my blog.
One of the designers my artwork is most inspired by, and I hope to work with someday, is Stella McCartney. I especially love her work this season. Today I suggest one of her black and white numbers.

No belt necessary. Pair it up with some rosie/nude chloe heels, and stella earrings. This other pop of color is a banana rep ring- it will work , don't be shy.

For this all to come together- paint your fingers in clam bake by essie before you head out the door, and throw your hair back in a messy low bun: a la sienna...

nyc again

Heading to nyc again today. This time a day trip only-more on that very soon.

One of the most exciting parts of the show last week was getting to see my name and work in the store windows! Linda Charles' stylish store manager thought that the work would be perfect in a few key spots.

Thanks for checking out the great posts on the show and all of your wonderful support- always.
Next week can't wait to share more big news and some great finds. Have a perfect weekend.

also new this week

Some photos from High Line ( checked it out while I stayed at the standard and it managed to de-stress me)

Sucked it up and cut bangs. Thanks you to these girls for the inspiration.

and to Joanna's blog, who floaded me with images of french women until it had to be done.

Been slacking on my shopping this week due to the nyc and CA shows AND I'm in the middle of a move. Devastated that someone grabbed these Chanel's before I did over at Rice and Beans... I better free up some time.

a few side notes

Want to thank the lovely Ladies today: Samantha, Leigh and Christina. They were so sweet in person.
And even though I've said t before the amazing Charles Nolan team for being so gracious to us. Thank you amazing Karen for traveling & taking hundreds of photos.
So many of you were supportive and posted this show online:

Also, since I am getting personal emails as well as blog comments about yes yes I wore juicy. And yes- It's the dress I previously posted on this blog. I caved in and bought it.
Wore it with these shoes. Glad you also enjoyed it :)

juicy couture, coach

Tried to commission the lovely jen and jamie of ban.do to make corsages for the artists but caught them a bit too late. Look what popped up on their site just today!! This first one would have been perfect on my little wrist wouldn't you say?
lots of photos from the show this week, stay tuned

Our work was spread through the store- it was so nice to see how lovely the work looked against Charles' own designs.
Leigh and I did in some shopping during the show...

Met alot of wonderful people. More on the show later this week. Thank you for always supporting me.
