nyc show

Thought I'd use this week to show you some photos from the show.
Our work was spread through the store- it was so nice to see how lovely the work looked against Charles' own designs.
Leigh and I did in some shopping during the show...

Met alot of wonderful people. More on the show later this week. Thank you for always supporting me.

adventures in Vintage

So this week my two vintage suitcases arrived for the NYC show. I've been making more and more vintage purchases lately and wanted to share one of my favorite new etsy shops with you: adventures in vintage. If you haven't already "heart-ed" this shop, run over there and do so now so that you can check in weekly.
Not vintage- but vintage inspired today- one of my lovely tee models Erika, at lookbook.

Hope you visited me over at OF yesterday, with some thoughts on Rachel Comey. Back over there today where I'm blabbing about Digby and Iona goodies!

moving!

One week left until the nyc show- and on top of that, the day that I return, I'm moving! I found a sweet little town home and every spare second I have leftover from getting prepared for the madness of the event I've been packing up my life.
I am selling my dining room set. It's gorgeous and on sale a crate and barrel for about $2000.00. (without the console) but it "just won't go". This doesn't make sense since it's practically brand new but ..you know how things go. So if anyone needs a great deal on a dining set in the greater Phila area!! you know who to contact!
In it's place we'll be looking for a small circular table in a light color (to replace our dark rectangular table), and four chairs (instead of our 6)

Here are some of my pics from all modern. Loving these idea for a dining room to replace mine! Not sure how I'll decide which to go with! Feel free to leave your input below!

Loving these deja vu chairs with oak backs:I'd love to mix these bertoia chairs with a small round table.

The table is perfect from the Herman Miller Swag Dining set, don't you agree?

Here it is in white- which I just looooove. Thinking about going with this one, or the one above.

Guest blogging over here at OF this week, here is a little hint at what you'll see today. Come visit me!

Thread

I am completely smitten with the designs over at thread social's website. In fact, if I could fill my closet with Beth and Melissa's designs- I would. It's so "me". I love their use of bright color, and love how they design their little black numbers too- they've got it right. And the styling- perfect. Here are some of my favorite looks.
Hope the post was worth the wait.... blame it on the rain.

it's raining, it's pouring.

Huge storm yesterday- another today.

and now my internet is creeping. Getting it up and running and a post will be up later this evening. Keep dry.
(wish his lovely umbrella from oaknyc could keep my dry while I waited!)
