A project on Friday required me to research the very prettiest ballet inspired dresses for a drawing. While online- I was distracted my top knots, simple black leotards with deep v's, those amazing studded capezios (you know the ones)... So today I have the urge to dress simply. And stand straighter

I was in dance classes my entire life. Some projects I enjoy more than others. This was one of them.

Oh, this is so wonderful! Do you by chance have any photos of you dancing? I'd love to post some on my blog. I have a dream of also doing what you did with framing sketches except doing it with sketches of tutus. It's my next project.

And yes, great minds do think alike!

I have also danced different kind of styles, but there´s nothing like ballet :)

love a pretty post with a fun title!!! there are some shoes at anthro similar to these with a big bow that remind me of the grown up "heeled" tap shoes i longed to wear when i was little.

Love the color of those satin shoes--so vintage, timeless and fun. I was a ballet girl too, so I relate!

I love these images. I quit ballet way too young, it's one of those little life regrets I carry.
