Most of you know how much time I've been spending in nyc lately. This is my next stop. AND it's especially designed for moms and tots. Adorable.

off to work
since the shows I've been swamped. I'm off to respond to some serious delays in emails and possibly design some new stuff too. I'll be tweeting some finds here and there if anything comes across my path. If you need my you can always reach me at dallasshawdesign@gmail.com

what's up with jill?
Wondering what happened with Jill's bag?
She Measured and cut, ironed and sewed, then created the base.
Next steps: inner and outer layers were sewn up and then ready t be sewn together. The handles got sewn on, layers pinned together (wrong sides out) and finally the topstitching on the bag was done.
Here are a few more photos from Jill's work of art. Make sure to check out her amazing etsy if you haven't yet. I have a Jill Bent bag that I take with me every time walk over to the grocery store!

Phila show
A huge thank you to James Oliver and his amazing gallery staff for including my work in the show "bodies" this past week.
One thing people are always surprised at is how large my canvases are in person. The space really showed them off perfectly.
